As you are gathering content for your GriotBook, you should collect as much documentation as you can find.  There are many records available online to assist you in finding these documents. Visit "gathering Info" for more tips on how to collect information.  Along with collecting written sources, you should collect oral sources as well.  It is very important for the Family Historian to gather as much information as possible via interviews. Interviewing family members can be exciting as well as rewarding. 

What are written sources?

written sources are official documents such as  reports, files, court documents, financial papers, news papers, or official files.
