Whether you are buying this for yourself or as a gift, we hope it provides a meaningful experience for you and your lineage.

It is nothing short of a phenomenon that the Ancestors would drop the idea of a GriotBook on a 4X Author who is also the owner and operator of a publishing company since 2007. The GriotBook family wanted to bring the Ancient Artistry of Village Story telling back to the forefront, recreating the spirit of the Griot whose main job was to keep the history of the village.  Now let the Journey begin......

TRUE FACT! The "mind" is the term most commonly used to describe the higher functions of the human brain, particularly those of which humans are subjectively conscious, such as personality, thought, reason, memory, intelligence and emotion.

The "brain" is the part of the central nervous system situated within the skull.  Its functions include muscle control and coordination, sensory reception and integration, speech production, memory storage, and the elaboration of thought and emotion.  With that being said, did you just finished your manuscript?  Did someone proofread it for you?  See, you can go over your story a hundred times and most likely you will still end up with errors.  Why?  Because the mind is the most powerful tool we have, and it is designed to correct what is wrong in an attempt to make it right.  When you read over your material and a typo or mistake is presence, your brain (in most cases) will correct it for you.  The tricky part about this is that your brain does not alert your mind that there is a problem detected.  In other words, your brain has already corrected the problem and wishes to move on.  For this reason, it is important to have others look it over for you to catch the mistakes that your mind missed.

We provide developmental and editorial assistance to authors, including rewriting (Ghost Writing) upon request. Book editing, manuscript editing, proofreading, copyediting, and substantive editing.

We provide proofreading which consists of correcting typos and incorrect word use, and spelling and punctuation errors. We will also flag sentences that need additional help beyond the scope of proofreading. We will provide a short evaluation of the manuscript, outlining additional assistance it may need, if any.

Copyediting consists of editing for grammar and syntax, sentence clarity, consistency, and paragraph and dialogue formatting. It includes proofreading.
